Dasher Class Cards a sneaky peak

These are the five cards I will be teaching my class on Tuesday evening. I was inspired by a class I took with Stevie and Terri in July (none are a direct lift but I've used the same colours and tweeked a few of the designs) I will improve my lighting and take better pictures after the event!

Shoe box swap cards

It's been a while since I last blogged, apologies to you all. Last weekend I had a great time with my Upline Stevie and fellow Stampin'Up! sisters. My favourite bit of the day was the shoe box swap. We all designed a card using SU products then put all the bits needed to make more of them in a shoe box. We all sat round the table and passed our box to the right and got creating, it was great fun especially as everyone's ideas were so different.

Treat boxes for end of term

I have made 6 little treat boxes for Jake and Sophie's teachers and support staff, they will all be filled with Minstrels and then sealed so I can't eat them! I did start with two bags of Minstrels but Jake and I muched through one whilst I was making these so only 3 are filled so far!! They are a 2,4,6,8 box made with very vanilla cardstock and stamped with Old Olive and the jumbo wheel It's Beautiful, I then used the large oval punch and scallop oval punch to make the window and frame from Chocolate Chip cardstock. The window has a small piece of acetate secured on the inside so the chocs don't fall out. I stamped the inside with a for you sentiment from the Occasional Greetings set (it will be seen once a few of the chocolates have been eaten). I then punched holes with the cropadile and threaded through Chocolate Chip ribbon and tied a bow. I hope they like them!

A new beginning

Well this is a first for me, writing a blog. My best friend Karen has been nagging me for some time to do one especially since I became a Stampin'Up! demo. Apparently it's the ideal place to showcase what I make using Stampin'Up! craft products and hopefully make some friends along the way. Feel free to join in!
